引き続きシンガポール話です。
シンガポールはイギリスの植民地時代があったため、
英語はイギリス英語です。Singapura Centreのように
すぐにわかることだと思います。
それでは、地下鉄やフロアの数え方はどうでしょうか？
イギリス式？ と思いきや違いました。
地下鉄はMRT(Mass Rapid Transit)といいます。
フロアの数え方は、Level 1, Level 2, ...
といったように、Level という単語が使われています。
これは、日本での1階=Level 1になります。わかりやすいですね。
イギリス式のGround Florr, 1st Floor, 2nd Floor, ...
と区別をつけるためでしょうか？
